Bypass your system
How To Bypass a 3 valve system.
- This system has two valves normally open and one normally closed.
- The outside valves are plumbed closest to the water conditioning system.
- Close the outside valves by turning clockwise. (Top left to right)
- Open the center valve by turning counter clockwise (Top right to left)
- Since the system may have been in service for a long period of time, you may have to turn the handle back and forth more than once to acquire a tight seal. If your system was leaking, remember it will take a few moments for the pressure to be released. So if the system seems to still be leaking after bypassing, monitor the unit to see if the leak slows.
